Role Overview: As a Senior Developer, you'll be a key technical leader building and scaling our core platform. You'll own end-to-end features, architect integrations, ensure security/performance at scale, and mentor junior team members. This is a hands-on role with high impact in a product-focused environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain secure, responsive full-stack features for custom client portals (real-time dashboards, file management, notifications, support tools). - Lead integrations with third-party services (Stripe, QuickBooks, Shopify, HubSpot, Zapier, Slack, etc.) via APIs, webhooks, and OAuth. - Implement white-label customization engine (dynamic branding, domains, themes). - Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability for multi-tenant SaaS (handling real-time data syncing, large file uploads, audit logs). - Ensure security best practices (data encryption, access controls, compliance standards like SOC 2 readiness). - Collaborate with designers, product, and founders to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code. - Write clean, testable code; conduct code reviews; establish engineering standards. - Troubleshoot production issues and improve observability/monitoring. - Mentor and guide less experienced developers. Required Skills & Experience: - 5+ years of professional software development experience. - Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React/Next.js preferred for frontend; Node.js/Express or similar for backend). - Experience building SaaS platforms with multi-tenancy, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and real-time features (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events). - Solid understanding of APIs, webhooks, and integrations (experience with Stripe, QuickBooks, Shopify, HubSpot a big plus). - Database expertise (PostgreSQL preferred; experience with Prisma, Drizzle, or similar ORMs). - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Vercel, AWS, or similar) and DevOps basics (CI/CD, Docker). - Strong focus on security, performance, and clean architecture. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Haves: - Experience with Webflow, Tailwind CSS, or design systems for branded UIs. - Knowledge of real-time data syncing tools (Pusher, Supabase Realtime, etc.). - Prior work on client-facing portals, fintech, or e-commerce tools. - Familiarity with compliance/security standards (SOC 2, GDPR). - Open-source contributions or side projects showcasing full-stack work.
